Here it is, the final wedding highlight film of 2013. And what a year it's been! I can't thank everyone enough for such an amazing year. From our first wedding back in April to our last few here in November, we have been so lucky to share in all of these peoples lives! I wouldn't trade any of it for the world! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
So I met Ashley & Michael just a few weeks before their wedding and from that first meeting, I could tell that these two are great people. They are laid-back, genuine people and I couldn't wait for their wedding day. The day started with both Ashley & Michael getting ready at the church. This church is great and the pastor is from my hometown which makes it even better. The guys got dressed downstairs while the girls finished their makeup in the bridal suite. As soon as we finished up with Ashley and her dress, it was time for the ceremony.
As the ceremony finished, we shot the photo session alongside Stacey & George from Catchlight Photography. They were a pleasure to work with and we surely hope our paths cross again in the future. We left the church and headed to the Compass Inn Musuem in Ligonier, PA. This place had a great rustic feel and we captured some beautiful outdoor shots.
We ended the night at The Barn at Ligonier Valley. The place was packed with friends and family and tons of dancing. The bridal party even had huge cardboard cutouts of Ashley & Michael's faces. They were AWESOME!
Thanks to Ashley & Michael for such an amazing time. We hope you guys had as much fun as we did! And thanks to all of our couples for making this year so special for us. We are looking forward to making many more friends in 2014!

I've said it time and time again, Fall is the absolute best time of year here in Central Pennsylvania. And as far as weddings go, it's my favorite time of year. Jenna & Ryan had a perfect day for a wedding and we had an amazing time sharing in their big day.
Jenna & Ryan have been friends of mine for a number of years now and they are PERFECT for each other. They are both kind and caring individuals, but I think the thing that holds them together is their sense of humor. They joke, smile and laugh at just about everything. Seriously, these two are so much fun to be around!
We started off the day at the church where both sides of the wedding party were getting ready. We finished up with prep and it was time for the ceremony. I couldn't think of a better pastor to marry these two. She was hilarious! We captured some family photo session footage at the church and then made our way to Valley View Park in Altoona.
I can't say enough good things about Christina Garber and her 2nd shooter Sarah. They were a blast to work with and I can't wait to work alongside them again. The park setting was a beautiful backdrop with colorful leaves on the trees and scattered about on the ground. I am so glad we decided to go there because we ended up with some amazing footage!
The reception was held at the fabulous Casino in Lakemont. It was actually the first reception in the big room for us and was it ever nice! A big thanks to Local Motion DJ's for keeping the party rocking throughout the night.
We are so thankful to Jenna & Ryan and both of their families for letting us share in their wedding day! Best of luck to you both in the future and enjoy your wedding highlights!

So what else can the end of September bring besides another beautiful wedding day! I've known Katie for a long time, in fact we graduated from high school together. And although I only met Jesse on their wedding day, it felt like I had known him for a lot longer. Both Katie & Jesse are the kind of people that are just fun to be around. And their wedding was exactly that, FUN!
The guys were getting ready at Jesse's parents house when we arrived. You could tell from the start that everyone was really excited for the day to begin. Whiskey shots in the driveway anyone? Once we were Inside, we filmed Jesse as he put on his tux and then were quickly out the door and over to the Cathedral.
We met up with Katie at the church as well as Krista & Mike from The Hurst's Photography. Outside of the Cathedral, we captured some beautiful detail shots of the dress & shoes just before Katie was ready to get dressed. Once she finished up, it was time for the ceremony.
As the ceremony ended, we worked alongside Krista & Mike on the steps just outside of the Cathedral. The exterior of the Cathedral is always a breathtaking backdrop, especially when the weather cooperates! Luckily, the lighting was amazing and we got some great shots before heading over to the reception.
We had the privilege of working with Dancing DJ's again for the reception. They are always so easy to work with and we really appreciate everything they do for us! But there was one more thing I was anxiously awaiting since we booked with Katie & Jesse and that was the Michael O'Brian Band! Yes, towards the very end of the night, the Michael O'Brian Band played all their hits along with a few covers of some popular artists. This was so much fun and really got the guests into the dancing.
Thanks so much to Katie & Jesse and both of their families for an amazing time. We had a blast spending the day with you and wish you the best of luck in the future. Enjoy your video!

I can't even begin to put into words how much I love doing what I do. I get to meet some of the most amazing people in the world and share in their once in a lifetime moments. I mean seriously, this job is the absolute best!
So just a few days ago, Devin contacted me about filming his proposal to his longtime girlfriend Kerry. I was extremely excited and also a bit nervous. It was the first time I was asked to do something like this and I had to stay hidden during the whole thing! So Devin and I scouted out the location and came up with a plan of attack.
Wednesday was the big day and wow, was it ever cold! The wind was blowing and I was certain that all of Devin's hard work was going to be ruined by the elements. But just as Kerry arrived, the wind went away and snowflakes started showering down from the sky. It was PERFECT! As Kerry was taking in all of the promise cards and decorations, Devin walked up behind her with the ring...and of course she said YES!
Thanks to Devin & Kerry for letting me share in this joyous event. I was thrilled to be able to capture this memory for you and let you cherish it forever. Enjoy the video!

I absolutely love September here in Central Pennsylvania. The leaves are changing, the sunsets are spectacular and the weather is a lot cooler! And what a perfect time to have an outdoor wedding in historic Hollidaysburg. Anna & Brian had probably the most perfect wedding day of 2013.
Now, this wedding was a little extra special to me because it was the first time I had been back to the Blairmont Club for a wedding since my wedding. As Anna & Brian created new memories, the scenery brought back a lot of past memories for me. I just can't get over how beautiful it is at the Blairmont with the natural light and the amazing overlook of Hollidaysburg & Chimney Rocks. Okay, enough reminiscing.
We started the day with Brian and the guys as they got ready at Brian's house. They were having a great time and were really into the photos & video. We finished up there and went over to the hotel where Anna & the girls were getting dressed. Anna looked stunning as she put on her wedding dress and you could see the excitement in her eyes.
Since the ceremony was later in the day, Anna & Brian arranged to have photos taken in the afternoon. So we packed up and headed down to Legion Park with Ray from Ray Kauffman Photography. Ray is an AMAZING photographer and just as amazing to work with. You can check out his work at the link below.
The ceremony took place on the grounds of the beautiful Blairmont Club and once it was finished, we got some great footage of the photo session around the golf course. Once inside, it was time to party! We had the opportunity to work with Rock Bottom Dj's again as they kept the fun going all night long.
Thanks to Anna & Brian and there amazing families for welcoming us into their lives on such a special day. We wish you the best of luck in the future! Enjoy your wedding film!

Was it only by chance that I finished Abby & Chad's wedding highlights today? I mean, it could have been done yesterday, or even pushed to tomorrow, but no, today was the day it was suppose to be finished. And why is that? Because today, Abby started chemotherapy and began her fight against breast cancer. I have known Abby for about 4 years now and she is one of the most genuine people I have ever met. I know she will make it through this, and her family and friends will be there to support her along the journey.
Now, let's rewind to Abby & Chad's wedding day. It was the last day of August 2013 and what a beautiful day it was…well sort of. The wedding was held outdoors at Abby's grandparents house in downtown Bedford and obviously the last thing you want for an outdoor wedding is rain! Well about 30 mins prior to the wedding, the clouds opened up and poured down some serious rain. We were all pretty nervous because there was literally no backup plan. But in a matter of minutes the sun came out and everything was back on track.
As Abby came down the aisle, Chad had a huge smile on his face. You can just tell that these two are in love! After the vows & rings were exchanged, we covered the photo session alongside Lyndsay of Elle Bee Photography. She is amazing and we were so happy to work with her.
The rest of the night was so much fun as Rockbottom DJ's blasted everybody's favorite tunes. There was even a surprise song sung by Abby's sister, dad & uncle.
Thank you to Abby & Chad's families for allowing us to share in such a special day. We had a blast being with you throughout the day and hope you enjoy the video!
