Julie & Adam - Outdoor Wedding - Altoona, Pennsylvania

Memorial Day Weekend was the perfect weekend for Julie and Adam to get married. The weather was stunning for their outdoor ceremony at the Allegheny Portage Ampitheatre in Cresson, PA and we couldn't have been happier spending the day with them.

The day started at Adam's family home where the guys were getting suited up. On the sun porch, we captured some great footage of Adam getting ready with the help of his best man. As the guys finished up, we headed out and traveled to the Cresson House Bed & Breakfast where the ladies were doing hair and makeup. Julie and the girls were beyond excited for the day and you could tell with each of their smiles. Once they finished up makeup, Julie slipped into her dress and we were off to the ampitheatre.

The ceremony site was nestled in the woods and gave us the feeling that we were the only ones around for miles. It was the perfect spot on a perfect day. Julie & Adam exchanged their vows and sealed their commitment with a kiss.  After the ceremony, we continued working alongside Nick Finochio for the photo session. Nick has a gift and his work is truly amazing! He's also one of most fun and professional photographers we get to work with.

The reception was held at The Casino in Lakemont and featured live music from the band Dreamscape. They rocked the dance floor and kept it going from Julie & Adam's first dance all the way through to the end of the night.

We can't say thank you enough to Julie & Adam and their amazing families for giving us the opportunity to capture their wedding day. Best wishes to you both in the future. Enjoy!

Jen & Scott - Engagement Session - St. Michaels, Maryland

After a long and cold winter, we couldn't be more excited to share this sneak peak of engagement session photos from our travels last weekend to St. Michaels, Maryland. And I couldn't be more proud of my wife, Jamie for taking her hobby to the next level and nailing this photo session. Thanks to Jen & Scott, we had the opportunity to meet up with them in this beautiful historic town on the Chesapeake Bay and capture some gorgeous images. We are also thrilled to accompany them next February on their destination wedding to the Caribbean!

Congrats on your engagement and we can't wait to see you this February!

Nutcracker 2014 | Behind the Scenes | Altoona, Pennsylvania

I love working with local companies and Allegheny Ballet Company is by far one of my favorites. We've had the honor of filming their Nutcracker performances for the past 2 years and this year we were able to put together a short behind the scenes video capturing the hard work it takes to put on these amazing performances. Enjoy!

Megan & Nick | Altoona, Pennsylvania Wedding

Megan and Nick's wedding was our last of 2014 and I have to say, it turned out to be pretty awesome! I've known these two for almost 10 years now and it was exciting to be surrounded by friends and people that I've gotten to know during those years. Not only do I know Meg and Nick, but I also know their parents very well which made it all the more special to be capturing their wedding day.

We began the day at the Manor House, a beautiful old farmhouse with all the charm one would expect from a historic house in Martinsburg, Pennsylvania. Meg and her bridesmaids spent the night and were eating some breakfast as we arrived. Meg was so excited for the day to get started and as she was putting on her dress, tears started flowing from some of the girls. Meg's mom finished up tying her sash and Meg made her way down the steps for everyone to see.

We then made our way to the Village Green where Nick and the guys were finishing up. Nick's dad helped him with the final details and we were ready to go for the ceremony. It was a short and sweet ceremony held in the conference room at the Village Green and then we were ready for the photo session. We worked alongside Niki and Aaron of Mountainside Photography. We absolutely love working with these two as they are so nice and such a fun time to be around. Once we finished inside, we traveled back to the Manor House for some great outdoor photos on the grounds around the farmhouse.

The reception took us to the Casino in Altoona where Phil and Jacque of Rock Bottom Sound Production were spinning the tunes for the evening. It was a nice treat for us to be in the Soho Room of the Casino, a place I hadn't been to for a few years. The room was so elegantly decorated and included some epic photos of Meg and Nick's dog on each of the guest tables. When it comes to weddings, the team at the Casino is top notch. The dancing continued late into the night and everyone had a blast.

Thanks to Meg and Nick for having us film their wedding day. We had an awesome time capturing all the special moments of the day. Best wishes to you both in your future together. Enjoy!

Jennifer & Chris | Fall Wedding | Lake Raystown, Pennsylvania

Jen & Chris' wedding day was an exceptionally special day for me because I've known Jen since Junior High. She's always been a great friend and even though our paths have taken us to different areas of Pennsylvania, I was so excited to film her wedding day. I didn't have the opportunity to meet Chris until the big day and sometimes that can be tough, but not with Chris. He is such a warm and friendly person that he seems like an old friend right from the start.

We began with Chris and the guys getting ready at one of the lodges at Lake Raystown. The weather was absolutely stunning for late October. As the guys mingled and drank some adult beverages, we finished up with Chris and headed down to the lakeside cabins where the girls were getting dressed.

Jen had the very interesting idea of putting her dress on outside next to the lake. At first I thought she might have had a little too much wine, but I'm so glad we did it. It was totally different and made for some great shots of her and the girls. Once we were done with the girls, we headed out for the first look. We met at the gazebo by the lake and captured the reaction of Chris seeing his beautiful bride for the first time. Both of their faces lit up with smiles.

Shortly after the first look, the ceremony took place on the deck of the Conference Center where Jen and Chris exchanged some very beautiful vows to each other. And just before the sun began to sink behind the mountains, we managed to grab some great shots of the newlyweds out on the boat docks.

The day culminated with a beautiful reception in the main ballroom of the Lake Raystown Conference Center. The staff here does an amazing job and are always so great to work with. Boomerang Sound laid down the tracks to what was a very entertaining dance party.

Congratulations to Jen & Chris and best wishes to them as they begin their journey together. Thank you for having us capture your wedding day. Enjoy!

Mallory & Jesse | Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania Wedding

What an honor it was to spend the day with Mallory & Jesse. They are two people with enormous hearts and such kind and warm personalities. You could tell that these two were made for each other and I feel privileged to have been able to capture their wedding day.

The day began at the First United Methodist Church in Hollidaysburg as Jesse and the guys were finishing up getting dressed. Just down the hall, Mallory and the girls were eager to get ready. They both had letters and gifts to give and you could really feel the emotion pouring out in these cards. Tears were already flowing.

As the ceremony began, the tears of joy continued as Mallory's father walked her down the aisle to be joined with Jesse. As soon as the ceremony ended, we shot alongside Nick from Nick Finochio Photography. Finally after all these years, we got to work together! Check out Nick's work on his page, it is amazing!

We traveled to the courthouse steps and the beautiful diamond of historic downtown Hollidaysburg for the first bit of the photo session and then headed out to some fields in Scotch Valley. The weather was out of control for early October with plunging temperatures and spots of rain, but we made it through!

The day continued with a beautiful reception at the Casino in Lakemont. I love this place as it's always decorated so beautifully. The staff do a truly remarkable job. Firestorm Entertainment provided the sound for the evening and had all the guests dancing from start to end.

Best wishes to Mallory & Jesse as well as both of their families. You are amazing people and deserve all the happiness in the world. Enjoy!
