If you asked me how to get back to this wedding location, I honestly couldn't tell you. We drove so far up a mountain and through the woods that I was certain we would be lost on the way home. But once we got to the top, the view of Lake Raystown was unbelievable. It was here on top a mountain, where Amanda and Matthew exchanged rings and renewed their marriage vows.
The day began with uncertain weather. There were clouds, some rain, and then sun! We were all very lucky as I'm pretty sure there was no back up plan. Matthew and the guys got ready on the patio outside of the lodge as the girls hung out and waited patiently upstairs. We finished up with the guys and made our way upstairs to the girls. Amanda's dress was stunning as it sparkled in the sunlight. As soon as she slipped in her dress, it was time for the ceremony.
The sun stayed out for the most part during this gorgeous outdoor wedding ceremony and as Amanda and Matthew exchanged their vows and rings, you could see the love beaming from their faces. There was love, laughter, tears, and smiles as they sealed their marriage with a kiss and walked hand in hand back down the aisle.
We worked alongside Laura Ashley Photography for the photo session. A big thanks to her for being so fun and easy going during this wedding day. She was a blast to work with and we hope to see her again soon. As we were finishing with the photos, we found a beautiful area tucked in the woods where we could get some great shots of Amanda and Matthew alone. My favorites of the day for sure.
The reception was held under a tent just a few steps away from the ceremony site. DJ Jeff Skidmore provided the tunes as everyone danced away on the dance floor. The end of the evening was extra special as people lit lanterns and sent them drifting into the night.
Congratulations to Amanda and Matthew and an extra big thank you for having us capture your wedding day. We had so much fun with you and your families. Enjoy!

Made for each other is an understatement when it comes to Kasie & Isaac. Their wedding day was packed full of so much love, laughter and tears and it was an honor to be able to capture it for them.
Our day began at Quest Haven Lodge, a rather large ranch that Isaac's family owns in the backwoods of Tyrone, Pennsylvania. Before we started with the girls, we had the opportunity to film some of the setup and decorations under the tent. Rustic Catering did an amazing job of decorating the place. As we entered the cabin where Kasie and the girls were doing hair and makeup, you could feel a nervous energy in the air. It was a big day for everyone.
We finished up at the lodge and headed over to the church to film the guys. Isaac and his groomsmen were tucked away in a separate room as Kasie made her way to the church to put on her dress. Just as everyone was ready, Isaac’s father did a special prayer with all the guys. It was a family tradition with his sons and it was indeed a special moment.
The ceremony was unique in itself as Kasie & Isaac read their personalized vows. They both had tears in their eyes as they read their promises to each other. As the ceremony concluded, we walked across the street to an amazing old house for the photo session. We could have spent all day here taking photos as it was so beautiful. A special thanks to Sarah Dane Photography for working alongside of us. They were fantastic!
The reception was held back at the lodge under a huge tent filled with family and friends. It was great to work with Nittany Entertainment again as they provided the music and packed the dance floor late into the night.
Thanks to both Kasie & Isaac and their wonderful families for having us capture their wedding day. We had so much fun spending the day with you and we wish you the absolute best in your future together. Enjoy!

Memorial Day Weekend was the perfect weekend for Julie and Adam to get married. The weather was stunning for their outdoor ceremony at the Allegheny Portage Ampitheatre in Cresson, PA and we couldn't have been happier spending the day with them.
The day started at Adam's family home where the guys were getting suited up. On the sun porch, we captured some great footage of Adam getting ready with the help of his best man. As the guys finished up, we headed out and traveled to the Cresson House Bed & Breakfast where the ladies were doing hair and makeup. Julie and the girls were beyond excited for the day and you could tell with each of their smiles. Once they finished up makeup, Julie slipped into her dress and we were off to the ampitheatre.
The ceremony site was nestled in the woods and gave us the feeling that we were the only ones around for miles. It was the perfect spot on a perfect day. Julie & Adam exchanged their vows and sealed their commitment with a kiss. After the ceremony, we continued working alongside Nick Finochio for the photo session. Nick has a gift and his work is truly amazing! He's also one of most fun and professional photographers we get to work with.
The reception was held at The Casino in Lakemont and featured live music from the band Dreamscape. They rocked the dance floor and kept it going from Julie & Adam's first dance all the way through to the end of the night.
We can't say thank you enough to Julie & Adam and their amazing families for giving us the opportunity to capture their wedding day. Best wishes to you both in the future. Enjoy!

After a long and cold winter, we couldn't be more excited to share this sneak peak of engagement session photos from our travels last weekend to St. Michaels, Maryland. And I couldn't be more proud of my wife, Jamie for taking her hobby to the next level and nailing this photo session. Thanks to Jen & Scott, we had the opportunity to meet up with them in this beautiful historic town on the Chesapeake Bay and capture some gorgeous images. We are also thrilled to accompany them next February on their destination wedding to the Caribbean!
Congrats on your engagement and we can't wait to see you this February!

I love working with local companies and Allegheny Ballet Company is by far one of my favorites. We've had the honor of filming their Nutcracker performances for the past 2 years and this year we were able to put together a short behind the scenes video capturing the hard work it takes to put on these amazing performances. Enjoy!

Megan and Nick's wedding was our last of 2014 and I have to say, it turned out to be pretty awesome! I've known these two for almost 10 years now and it was exciting to be surrounded by friends and people that I've gotten to know during those years. Not only do I know Meg and Nick, but I also know their parents very well which made it all the more special to be capturing their wedding day.
We began the day at the Manor House, a beautiful old farmhouse with all the charm one would expect from a historic house in Martinsburg, Pennsylvania. Meg and her bridesmaids spent the night and were eating some breakfast as we arrived. Meg was so excited for the day to get started and as she was putting on her dress, tears started flowing from some of the girls. Meg's mom finished up tying her sash and Meg made her way down the steps for everyone to see.
We then made our way to the Village Green where Nick and the guys were finishing up. Nick's dad helped him with the final details and we were ready to go for the ceremony. It was a short and sweet ceremony held in the conference room at the Village Green and then we were ready for the photo session. We worked alongside Niki and Aaron of Mountainside Photography. We absolutely love working with these two as they are so nice and such a fun time to be around. Once we finished inside, we traveled back to the Manor House for some great outdoor photos on the grounds around the farmhouse.
The reception took us to the Casino in Altoona where Phil and Jacque of Rock Bottom Sound Production were spinning the tunes for the evening. It was a nice treat for us to be in the Soho Room of the Casino, a place I hadn't been to for a few years. The room was so elegantly decorated and included some epic photos of Meg and Nick's dog on each of the guest tables. When it comes to weddings, the team at the Casino is top notch. The dancing continued late into the night and everyone had a blast.
Thanks to Meg and Nick for having us film their wedding day. We had an awesome time capturing all the special moments of the day. Best wishes to you both in your future together. Enjoy!
