Megan & Nick | Altoona, Pennsylvania Wedding

Megan and Nick's wedding was our last of 2014 and I have to say, it turned out to be pretty awesome! I've known these two for almost 10 years now and it was exciting to be surrounded by friends and people that I've gotten to know during those years. Not only do I know Meg and Nick, but I also know their parents very well which made it all the more special to be capturing their wedding day.

We began the day at the Manor House, a beautiful old farmhouse with all the charm one would expect from a historic house in Martinsburg, Pennsylvania. Meg and her bridesmaids spent the night and were eating some breakfast as we arrived. Meg was so excited for the day to get started and as she was putting on her dress, tears started flowing from some of the girls. Meg's mom finished up tying her sash and Meg made her way down the steps for everyone to see.

We then made our way to the Village Green where Nick and the guys were finishing up. Nick's dad helped him with the final details and we were ready to go for the ceremony. It was a short and sweet ceremony held in the conference room at the Village Green and then we were ready for the photo session. We worked alongside Niki and Aaron of Mountainside Photography. We absolutely love working with these two as they are so nice and such a fun time to be around. Once we finished inside, we traveled back to the Manor House for some great outdoor photos on the grounds around the farmhouse.

The reception took us to the Casino in Altoona where Phil and Jacque of Rock Bottom Sound Production were spinning the tunes for the evening. It was a nice treat for us to be in the Soho Room of the Casino, a place I hadn't been to for a few years. The room was so elegantly decorated and included some epic photos of Meg and Nick's dog on each of the guest tables. When it comes to weddings, the team at the Casino is top notch. The dancing continued late into the night and everyone had a blast.

Thanks to Meg and Nick for having us film their wedding day. We had an awesome time capturing all the special moments of the day. Best wishes to you both in your future together. Enjoy!

Jennifer & Chris | Fall Wedding | Lake Raystown, Pennsylvania

Jen & Chris' wedding day was an exceptionally special day for me because I've known Jen since Junior High. She's always been a great friend and even though our paths have taken us to different areas of Pennsylvania, I was so excited to film her wedding day. I didn't have the opportunity to meet Chris until the big day and sometimes that can be tough, but not with Chris. He is such a warm and friendly person that he seems like an old friend right from the start.

We began with Chris and the guys getting ready at one of the lodges at Lake Raystown. The weather was absolutely stunning for late October. As the guys mingled and drank some adult beverages, we finished up with Chris and headed down to the lakeside cabins where the girls were getting dressed.

Jen had the very interesting idea of putting her dress on outside next to the lake. At first I thought she might have had a little too much wine, but I'm so glad we did it. It was totally different and made for some great shots of her and the girls. Once we were done with the girls, we headed out for the first look. We met at the gazebo by the lake and captured the reaction of Chris seeing his beautiful bride for the first time. Both of their faces lit up with smiles.

Shortly after the first look, the ceremony took place on the deck of the Conference Center where Jen and Chris exchanged some very beautiful vows to each other. And just before the sun began to sink behind the mountains, we managed to grab some great shots of the newlyweds out on the boat docks.

The day culminated with a beautiful reception in the main ballroom of the Lake Raystown Conference Center. The staff here does an amazing job and are always so great to work with. Boomerang Sound laid down the tracks to what was a very entertaining dance party.

Congratulations to Jen & Chris and best wishes to them as they begin their journey together. Thank you for having us capture your wedding day. Enjoy!

Mallory & Jesse | Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania Wedding

What an honor it was to spend the day with Mallory & Jesse. They are two people with enormous hearts and such kind and warm personalities. You could tell that these two were made for each other and I feel privileged to have been able to capture their wedding day.

The day began at the First United Methodist Church in Hollidaysburg as Jesse and the guys were finishing up getting dressed. Just down the hall, Mallory and the girls were eager to get ready. They both had letters and gifts to give and you could really feel the emotion pouring out in these cards. Tears were already flowing.

As the ceremony began, the tears of joy continued as Mallory's father walked her down the aisle to be joined with Jesse. As soon as the ceremony ended, we shot alongside Nick from Nick Finochio Photography. Finally after all these years, we got to work together! Check out Nick's work on his page, it is amazing!

We traveled to the courthouse steps and the beautiful diamond of historic downtown Hollidaysburg for the first bit of the photo session and then headed out to some fields in Scotch Valley. The weather was out of control for early October with plunging temperatures and spots of rain, but we made it through!

The day continued with a beautiful reception at the Casino in Lakemont. I love this place as it's always decorated so beautifully. The staff do a truly remarkable job. Firestorm Entertainment provided the sound for the evening and had all the guests dancing from start to end.

Best wishes to Mallory & Jesse as well as both of their families. You are amazing people and deserve all the happiness in the world. Enjoy!

Rebecca & Caleb | Summer Wedding | Bedford, Pennsylvania

The first thing I noticed on Rebecca & Caleb's wedding day was their programs. On the front, it said, the celebration of love between a Backwoods Boy & a Fairytale Princess. These words were absolutely true and we found that out immediately when we started prep with the guys.

We started the day in the animal room of the church and I would be willing to be that this may be one of the only churches with such a room. The walls were painted like a forest and their were animals mounted everywhere. I was amazed. The guys were hanging out and eating some snacks as Caleb put on his tuxedo complete with a camouflage vest. His dad finished up the details with a shotgun shell flower.

Downstairs, the girls were finishing up makeup and putting on their dresses. Rebecca was so excited as she put on her dress and jewelry. Both her and her mother were lit up with happiness.

As the ceremony finished, we traveled to Old Bedford Village for the photo session. We had a blast working alongside Rachele of Rachele Lantz Photography and we shot some truly beautiful footage at this historic landmark.

The day finished up with a reception at The Hall at Kinton's Knob, a beautiful rustic venue above the Bedford Historical Society. A big thanks to Northeastern Entertainment for being wonderful hosts and providing the music for the night.

Congratulations to Rebecca & Caleb and both of their families. Best wishes to you both as you begin your journey together! Enjoy!

Kylee & Tyler - August Wedding in Altoona, Pennyslvania

Having a wedding in August here in Central Pennsylvania can be a toss up. It can be brutally hot or sometimes just perfect. For Kylee and Tyler’s wedding day, the weather was perfect! And we had a blast spending the day with them and all of their friends.

The day began at Tyler’s parent’s house where we started filming the guys as they got ready. Tyler is a man of of few words, but he was definitely smiling the entire time during prep, especially when he received his wedding gift from Kylee. You could tell that he was ready for this day, and after 13 years of being together, the time was just right.

Just down the road, Kylee was getting ready at their new home. The house was buzzing with the bridesmaids running around, finishing up hair and makeup. Even their dog, Bentley was dressed up with a bow tie. As Kylee slipped into her wedding dress, the girls helped with the jewelry including a necklace from Tyler.

We headed to the church and set up for a beautiful ceremony at St. Matthew’s Church in Tyrone. Afterwards we headed off to Legion Park in Hollidaysburg. We worked alongside Mike Walk from Walk’s Photography for the photo session. Mike was great to work with and we hope to see him again soon.

Our day ended at the Bavarian Social Club in Altoona with a beautiful reception. Kylee and her mom decorated the hall and really made it stand out. Boomerang Sound did a great job with the purple uplighting and really brought the room alive. They cranked out the tunes and kept the guests on the dance floor.

Thanks again to Kylee & Tyler and both of their families for giving us the privilege of capturing their wedding day. It was a pleasure meeting you and best of luck to your future together. Enjoy!

Ashley & Ryan - Johnstown, Pennsylvania Wedding Highlights

We are absolutely thrilled to share this beautiful Johnstown Wedding highlight of Ashley & Ryan. These two were a pleasure to work with and packed the day with tons of fun and excitement. Not only were Ashley & Ryan fun to work with, but their entire wedding party, parents included, put a smile on our faces.

Even though the day started out with a bit of rain, Ryan and his groomsmen were ready to go. We started at the Holiday Inn in downtown Johnstown with some groom prep and gift giving. Ryan's gift was too risqué to show on camera, but he certainly enjoyed it! We finished up with the guys and headed to Ashley's parent's house to film her getting into her dress. We showed up just in time to show her Dad how to put on his tie. He was hilarious and kept everyone calm with jokes and laughter.

The ceremony was held at the Whalley Chapel on UPJ's campus and once the vows were exchanged, we headed out for the photo session. Imminent rain showers kept us moving, but we were able to get a lot of great footage with the whole wedding party. We worked alongside Jamie and her assistant from Jamie Crum Photography and had a blast doing so.

We then traveled to the beautiful Pasquerilla Center for the reception and worked with Pat from Supreme Sound Entertainment. The party was full of some pretty hysterical toasts, tons of dancing, and great friends and family.

Thanks so much to Ashley & Ryan and their families. We had so much fun meeting everyone and sharing in your big day. Congratulations and best wishes! Enjoy your wedding highlights!

Kelsey & Aaron's Summer Wedding - Johnstown, Pennsylvania

Our latest wedding highlight film includes two people that I am so very happy to have met. Kelsey & Aaron are the friendliest and most easy going couple we have ever had the pleasure to work with and I truly mean that. They were full of love, happiness, and plenty of laughter on their wedding day and we had an absolute blast filming their big day.

The day began at Aaron's house with groom prep. Aaron was ready to get started when we got there and we filmed him finishing up with the final details. All the groomsmen were by his side, hanging out, joking and keeping it fun as the day unfolded.

Next we headed right down the road to the church just as Kelsey and her bridesmaids were arriving. They were all smiles and full of excitement as Kelsey put on her dress and finished up just before the ceremony began.

The ceremony was held at the beautiful St. John Vianney Church in Johnstown, a lovely church with short aisle, but plenty of seats for their friends and families. As the ceremony ended, Kelsey and Aaron rushed out of the church ready to be showered with bubbles from everyone outside. We worked alongside the fabulous Julie Buck during their photo session. The backdrop included beautiful woods, fields, and an amazing vintage car. I can't express enough how much fun we had with these two!

Once we arrived at the Contres Grier Social Hall, Top Dog Productions rocked the house! Aaron and his friends love hunting and fishing so they killed it with a Duck Dynasty intro to Sharp Dressed Man. After that, the party started and didn't stop!

We had such an amazing time with Kelsey & Aaron and their families. Best wishes to them as they start their journey together! Enjoy their wedding highlights!
